Vodafone CallYa Activation - Error message [English]

I puchased a Vodafone SIM from Media Markt on 25 July 2019 & have been unable to register the SIM details with the Vodafone registration page.  I keep getting the same error message; Ein Fehler ist aufgetreten - versuch es bitte später noch mal.

I've typed in the correct Area Code: 0162

... but even though I type in the correct phone number, I keep getting the error message & cannot proceed to submit my Proof of Identity & activate the SIM cart.  This is very frustrating!  Please help...

Is the card from mobilcom debitel? Then you can't register it on the Vodafone Homepage.

Additional to @Jojo111 post you can use that website (only in German) to register and identification your SIM-card or you have to go to a Mobilcom-Debitel shop.

     The Mobil.com link was the solution for getting the SIM card activated.  Thank you very much for that!

     While I can now make/receive calls, the phone is telling me to connect & select what Data Pack to use with the SIM card.  But the Vodafone packet says I get 2GB - see the attached photos.  I consider myself to be computer literate, but this process of getting a Vodafone SIM has been frustrating - certainly not easy, or well documented.  🙁

I don't know the processes from Mobilcom-Debitel (md). But CallYa Talk & SMS is a tariff by consumption and with Smartphone Special you will get included data volume (2 GB) and 200 SMS/min free for use.
I think the service from md will tell you that in a better way.
