Hello,
I will be moving from my current address to a different address in the same city in April and would like to be able to use my connection at the new address as well.
Could you please let me know how does the process look like and generally how long does it take to switch the address?
Also when I change address, is their a down time in connection or can I simply plug my router in the new place and it starts working?
My current plan is Kabel1000

If your connection is not available at the new address, you have a special right of termination. You are not obliged to book a DSL connection with Vodafone as part of the move. Report the move and simply say that you don't want a DSL connection, then your contract will be terminated with a notice period of 1 month.

Hi nvas,
please let us know that you are moving in good time using the relocation form. In most cases you can simply connect the cable router to the new apartment when you move. If a technician is needed, the colleagues in the relocation department will find this out in the system and take care of it.
Best regards
Lars

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. After having checked availablity of the connection of Vodafone at the new address only has 100Mbps speed available.
However, at my current address, I have Kabel 1000 Mbps available.
How will this difference be handled when it comes to the cost of the plan ?

So there is no cable connection at the new address, only DSL. That would then mean your current connection will be terminated and you will then have to send the cable router back at the end of the contract.
But you can then switch to Red Internet&Phone 100 DSL and keep your previous landline number(s). Your internet will then come via the telephone line and no longer via the TV cable.
The costs are €39.99 per month, with the first 6 months of the contract currently being free. The activation fee of €49.99 does not currently apply to online bookings either.

That seems very unfavorable, my current plan costs me 39 for 1gbps, it'll cost me 39 for 1/10th of that?
Would it be possible to then terminate my contract completely?, and I'll have to investigate what's the better option at my new address.
