Hello,
My contract numbers are 3*** (Anschluss, Digital ) and
Telefonie, Internet (Vertragsnummer: 3***) and I would like to know how to cancel it as soon as possible, as I tried before and was always hearing stories such as the lines are in work and thats why there were always connection interruptions and so on, but I am tired of it. Therefore now since I am moving in another apartment, I want to search for a new provider or even just use my work phone sim card for internet at home ( which in most cases is more reliable than the cable connection I have a home). Please let me know where to call and who to contact to make this happen, I really want to cancel my contract or an option would be to move it to the person who takes over the old apartment, anything works for me, but I do not want the same story in the new apartment.
Best regards,
Victor
German version below (using goolge translate, sorry)
Meine Vertragsnummern sind 3*** (Anschluss, Digital ) und
Telefonie, Internet (Vertragsnummer: 3***)

Hello Victorv25,
please excuse me, here is the link to our moving service. Simply notify us of your move. We will then check whether you can continue to be supplied at the new address. Otherwise, your contract will be terminated in accordance with the Telecommunications Act.
Best regards

Hi Victorv25,
it's not that easy to terminate your job because of your move.
Please report your move using this form. If your contract is not available at the new address, the contract can be terminated earlier.
Otherwise you can only terminate the contract at the end of the contract period.
Regards
Stephan

Hi Stephan,
I couldn’t find any link to the form in the reply. However, the form or not, taking over the Vodafone contract to the new apartment is not an option unfortunately, as I want to use my right as an unsatisfied customer to cancel the services I am provided and to have nothing to do anymore with the provider. Sadly I am fed up with the poor internet quality from Vodafone. I will search for the form to fill up, but also I have checked availability of Cable serives online on the vodafone website and it says for "13599" postcode is only available DSL connection...which is not a really good option for me having the experience of Cable vodafone already which was not so good I can imagine DSL would be even worse. Therefore since it is not available there I will go for contract cancellation and will use an LTE router for the time being.

Hi Nancy,
I have got a call after filling that form earlier, and the guy said the fiber cable internet service is not available and he will send me a label to send the old router back because for the new address will be needed another kind of router..DSL router, I told him I do not want that, DSL is not an option and I have better options available for myself and DSL will not be fitting for home office work due to poor speed, that's why I will be using a 5G router from my company and disregard any contracts or DSL. However he was not speaking English and told me my contract now is moved and so on and i have time to decice and something. What can I do in this case when Cable is not available? (considering my old contract is Cable) am I allowed to refuse the DSL and cancel contract in this case?
Thank you 🙂

Hi,
you are not obliged to order DSL. You can refuse the order when you register your move.
