What to do with my GigaCube Flex? I'm leaving Germany

Hello everybody!

I apologize I'm not a German speaker, and for asking something that's probably written in my contract. I've been using the GigaCube Flex during my stay in Germany, but now I'm leaving. I don't know what to do with it.

I believe these routers are rented from Vodafone and now I must return it, is that correct? How do I do that?

Moreover, am I allowed to keep the sim card and use it if I ever come back?

Thank you!

No, the GigaCube is not rented, but you bought it - in the Flex tariff usually for approx. 50 €  in the beginning of the contract.

So the only thing to do then is to cancel the contract, take out the SIM card and store it - you might use the SIM card again as long as the contract is running (obviously having then to pay for the usage). But if you don't use the SIM anymore, you won't be charged in the Flex tariff...

Once the contract is cancelled, the SIM card won't be usable anymore - you can then recycle it.

And for the GigaCube - as you bought it, it's now your device.

Be advised that the GigaCube has no SIM- or Netlock, so you can also use the device in any other country with any other SIM card (given that the GigaCube is compatible to their network frequencies -- which usually is given if being used in Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia).
