Hello,
I have a Gigacube at home and ever since I bought it 2-3 years ago, I’ve had problems with the connection just disconnecting out of nowhere. This happened all the time but I learned to live with it since I gave up on ever getting a proper internet connection from Vodafone. I fixed the problem by just restarting the router every time. It used to happen mainly when I connect more than 3 devices to the Gigacube so I avoided that in the past (although I should not have to!). It also mainly happened 2-3 per week.
Now, it just disconnects every single day and I can barely connect to the internet without the connection cutting off. The light is still blue which means the connection is fine but for some reason the Gigacube is not connecting to the internet. It takes me to this weird Gigacube login page where I need to put the Gigapassword (the Gigapassword NOT to be confused with the actual wifi password of the router). Even when I input this password into the login page, that doesn’t help.
Because I barely got any internet over the past days, I also relied heavily on my Vodafone mobile data which is now at over 80% usage thanks to this problem.
Can someone from the community help me out with this problem or someone from the vodafone team?
I am just so tired of not having a stable connection with Vodafone although I am paying an insane amount for my Vodafone contract.
I live in Berlin. But please note that this problem has been happening ever since I purchased the Gigacube so it can’t be “Network Maintenance work” problems which seems to be Vodafone team’s generic answer to everything.
