Multimedia socket adapter doesn't fit the socket

Hello! I'm writing here because I, unfortunately, don't speak any German and cannot call the hotline

I have received a Vodafone cable router today along with a multimedia socket adapter. My cable socket has 2 connections. But the adapter doesn't fit my socket because the distance between connections in my socket is smaller than the distance between respective plugs in the adapter. Please refer to the attached image. Can anybody please help me with this? I would really appreciate any help here

There is obviously only one solution here. A technician must look at this and install another socket free of charge as part of the installation. We can instruct the technician or you can instruct him via a friend through the hotline. Please send us the customer number, name incl. address and date of birth of the contract holder by private message.

Write here briefly when the data has been sent. Currently it takes a few days until we are back in the post 😞

I got a vodafone cable box which was delivered to me but i have been struggling to get it activated oe working now i discovred that it didn't come with the multimedia adapter socker because my wall is 2 hole socket. since i do not speak German it is difficult to get any support here.

I have not been able to use the internet since i had it.
