Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writting in regards to situation I have with Vodafone.
I went on 05.11.2018 to Vodafone shop in Delitzscher Str. 70, Leipzig, to cancel my internet contract, but I had no passport with me.
I sent an email with my ID copy to Vodafone employee .xxx the same day.
As I received no reply from him I went again to Vodafone shop.
xxx told me that he did everything needed and I should receive a letter from Vodafone with cancellation confirmation.
After two weeks there was no Vodafone letter in my post box still.
So I went again to Vodafone shop.
xxx repeated that everything is fine and I should receive a letter from Vodafone.
On 04.12.2018 I went again to Vodafone shop with packed internet modem.
xxx told that he has my contract cancellation confirmation from Vodafone, but he can not provide it because it is for internal use only.
He suggested to forward the modem by post and I did it.
Internet modem was sent to Vodafone by Deutsche Post shipment number xxx.
Since then I still didn't receive any letter from Vodafone, but money for internet is taken from my bank account.
Could you please inform me the status of my internet contract?
Could you please make it cancelled from 31.12.2018 as xxx from Vodafone shop guaranteed it will be done?

Hi Alina,
actually, the shops are not necessarily the right contact for a termination. The contact form or a direct letter would have been the better decision.
Let's take a look. Send me your customer number, name, date of birth and address in a private message.
Then please reply here again.

Dear Thomas,
I sent you a private message with needed information.
As this Vodafone guy guaranteed he will fix it, I trusted him.
Otherwise he should give me information how to cancel the contract..
I just feel like he put me in Vodafone trap..

Hi Alina33,
the contract is in termination. However, only at the end of the contract period on 05.06.2019. This is only possible prematurely if you move to an address that has not been supplied. Where did you move to? Please send me the address by private message.

Dear Thomas,
I moved out of Germany.
The proof is the email with flat contract cancellation which I already provided you by private message.
Could you please find the solution to cancel my internet contract earlier than 05.06.2019 because of Vodafone guy which guaranteed it will be fixed from 31.12.2018 and that internet modem is already returned to Vodafone?
There shuold be the way to cancel it earlier than in six month..

Hi Alina33,
we can adjust your cancellation. Based on the cancellation confirmation of your apartment on 31.12.2018, we can bring forward the cancellation to 31.03.2018. This is the earliest possible termination date according to the current legal regulations.
