Unexplained increases in monthly charges

My monthly internet bill has increased substantially without explanation. My monthly bill for internet increased from 24.98 to 38.98 euro after the first year of my contract. This is expected after the first year's promotional price. However, for July 2020, I am being billed 53.59 euro. What is the explanation for this increase, when the invoice states the same services?

Could it still be that this now is the final price as it might happen that the first invoice after the first year finished, contains both, a partial sum for the days where the promotional price was still active and another partial sum for the rest of the days where the promotional price did not apply anymore?

This usually happens because the invoice period does not match your contractual period - thus your very first invoice would've also been with a partial price...

You'd in that case find two lines in your invoice - one stating the promotional price and the days it applies to and a second one with the rest of the days and the full price.
