Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to You in order to cancel my Vodafone subscription because I am moving away from Germany. Due to the coronavirus situation, me and my partner had already spent the last months in Estonia – we we’re not in the apartment on Friedrich Loeffler Strasse since mid-February and now in July we only returned here in order to move out. I am still working in the University of Greifswald, but due to the coronavirus pandemic I will teach all my courses from a distance through the Internet in autumn as well – therefor it will not be necessary for me to return to Germany in September. I understand that for the termination of the contract it might be necessary to present some documents proving my non-residency in Germany, but I am not quite sure which would be the right documents. I have an apartment in Estonia which is my official place of residence. My official employer is the Archimedes Foundation which is based in Estonia and which has sent me to a teaching post here in Greifswald University.
I would also like to know if I have to return the Internet box to Vodafone?
I am leaving next Monday, so I hope that You can give me a quick answer.
