Hi, there. My internet contract 'Red Internet & Phone 250 Cable' should have become active since today. But apparently, my router cannot connect to Vodafone service. When can I get an internet connection?
There is no start date on the client portal: Die Anzeige Deiner Vertragslaufzeit ist aus technischen Gründen leider nicht möglich. Weitere Infos findest Du in Deinen Vertragsunterlagen
My paper contract doesn't provide any information either. However, Vodafone already cancelled my contract with an old provider since yesterday.

FWIW. Today I got an email with this information:
Da Ihr Anschluss nun aktiv ist, leiten wir Ihre Kündigung an Ihren alten Anbieter weiter. Außerdem beauftragen wir ihn, Ihre Rufnummern zu übertragen. Sie bekommen den Termin des Wechsels in ca. 3 Wochen von uns. Dann können Sie bisherigen Rufnummern auf Ihrem neuen Anschluss nutzen
This should have happened by 08.09.20. Now my old contract with Telekom has been prolonged for a year. The next possible termination date is `Eingang der Kündigung spätestens am 06.08.2021`. Is it possible to suspend the current contract with Vodafone till this date?

we can only send the order to your old provider once the connection has been installed. This was communicated to you by letter dated 20th of august 2020. If your old contract still runs for a few months, we can waive the basic fees for you within the framework of the "Wechselprämie" (change premium).

What does it mean? I installed the router a long time ago. My internet connection still doesn't work.
What is the point of canceling my old contract with Vodafone help if it's going to do so after my old contract has been prolonged?

we have therefore commissioned a technician to look at your connection and install it. We will cancel the contract with your current provider and your phone number will be switched to us. Your old provider will inform us of the date.
You will receive the switching premium from us for this time, so that you do not have to pay two contracts at the same time. You can already use our connection after the technician has been there and is looking at everything again.
