Can I use my own modem?

There is already another post addressing this problem, but it's kinda old and things might have changed since then.

The modem provided by Vodafone died within the week I signed my contract with Vodafone. So I simply plugged-in my older modem (which was also provided from Vodafone as I used to have a contract with them in my previous flat). But now that one is also giving me problems. So, is it within my right to ask Vodafone to send me a new modem? Or should I purchase one myself? Do you have a list of brands and models I should stick to, or may I just buy the one I like best?

Kind regards,

Jorge

Hi JEchavarria,

if our cable router has a defect, it will usually be replaced free of charge.

What kind of defect did you find?

Send me your name, address, date of birth and customer number via PN   and we will check it out.

Best regards, Martin
