Hi, I have cable Internet contract since 2015 (when it was Kabel Deutchland). Recently upgrade my contract to
a download speed of 200 Mbit/s. Unfortunately the cable modem is not providing high speed with WLAN.
Using LAN the speed is OK-ish between 150-180 Mbit/s, but measuring over the same computer/ same browser/ same time the max speed on WLAN is 50 Mbit/s. Measurments were done at 30cm from the modem, and repeated at different times/dates.
I tried all the optimizations suggested by the vodafone article 'Wie optimiere ich die WLAN-Leistung?' and following the manufacturer manual with no success. The modem model is Hitron CVE-30360 which has no 5GHz and according to manufacturer it can get up to 300 Mbit/s in WLAN.
I have this modem since 2015 and it cannot cope with my high speed Internet.
I kindly request the replacement of the modem which suits my new Internet plan and can get the expected speeds.
