Hello!
I received my internet router on Saturday and I have fixed it, but I still don't have internet. The internet light is still showing red. Can someone help me please. I have try contacting Vodafone but is all in German.

Hello Mukass,

 

I registered the MAC address you sent me, but the system still tells me that there is no cable modem deposited in your account. Do you still get the same error message?

in which federal state do you live? What router did you get? What happens when you try to open a website? When should your contract start?

I live in Berlin. I got the Vodafone station router. But after fixing it when I try to activate it says the device is in use by someone.

I would like to check this, for that I will need your customer number, the full address and the birth date of the contract owner. Please also send the MAC address of the router. Use the private message function to send the details and leave a short reply in this thread afterwards.

it seems the installation needs to be finished by a technician. There is already an appointment on Friday. I'm certain the colleague will make it work :).

Thanks for your response.
I dont think I really need a technician. The problem is with activation. I have attached a screenshot of the error message. I have requested a new activation code and I still get the same error.
The technician is coming on Friday. If he is not able to fix it, which I know he will not because this problem has to be solve at the station, I have to wait again for another week.
What I think is that my details are not linked to the router and that needs to be done in order to be able to activate it.
Please check and help me out. I need internet to work.

Yes the internet just started working now. It didn't ask me for any activation after you have registered the MAC address.
So, can you please cancel the technician appointment? And what do I have to do so the device will show in the system? Do I have to register again on meinkabel with the new activation code I requested?

good that it works now :). I can see the modem in the systems now, I assume it needed some time to get online. So I cancelled the task for the technician. Please register your cable contract in the customer portal to have access to your bills.
