Hallo! I am a customer of Vodafone since June this year, and since then I have had troubles with the internet connection which have intensified in the last few weeks. Everyday, at different times (either morning, afternoon or evening) I suffer from disconnections and the internet stops working. The first light of my FritzBox (Power/DSL) starts blinking for about one minute and then the connection comes back. When this happens, normally the disconnections are 3-4 in a row. Sometimes it is impossible to see a 30 minutes video without some disconnection, and it is really annoying. I would like to have this issue fixed and since the customer service on the phone does not speak English, I wonder how I could reach to someone and get some help.

I'm sorry that your connection is not working as desired.

 

Did you check all cables, reboot the router?

 

In the router menu under Internet -> DSL information you will find the item "Störsicherheit". It can help to adjust this value to stabilise the line.

 

If this does not help, please tell me which FritzBox you are using.

 

Can you see the terminations in the log of the router or do the terminations only occur in the WIFI?

Thank you very much for the info. I checked all cables and I rebooted the router but it did not work. In fact, terminations occur both in wifi and connected with cable. The first light of the FritzBox (Power/DSL) starts blinking and the connection is interrupted. After few minutes, the connection comes back.

 

I tried changing the parameter and I have everything at "Maximum stability". However, this has not worked and I have terminations every day at different times. It is enarly impossible to watch a movie without interruptions due to a deffective connection. My FritzBox is a Fritz!BOX 7530.

 

I do not know what else I could try since the connection is very poor and I have had this problem since the beggining.
