Please cancel my contract

I recently moved and I signed up for fast internet for 100mbts and they can only provide 50mbts. I would like to cancel my contract and its so hard trying to email vodafone. this is a freaking nightmare.

Please keep the following things in mind:

- If you signed for a VDSL contract (internet using the phone line):

VDSL 100 has an allowed downstream bandwidth between 54 MBit/s (minimal) and 100 MBit/s (maximum). So if your router is connecting with at least 54 MBit/s, your connection is within the contractual agreed range of speed (Compare InfoDoc 120, page 25).

 

The speed that can be reached by VDSL is varying due to the length of the phone line connection between your router and the DSLAM (the DSL modem at the other end of the line). If the line is getting too long, the available speed will drop due to the electrical limits of the line. Especially if your line is too long, you won't be able to get much higher speeds, even if you'd switch to another provider - and the other thing is that you are within the contractual agreed range of speed, so there is no possibility to cancel the contract prematurely.

what is the exact bandwidth on your conection.

 

Please do some speed checks and post the results here including the ticket numbers.

- Please use a a cable connection and no WIFI

- Please do not use extensions or adapters

- No parallel downloads or streams

How many more threads are you planning on opening, @jandoy?  You have been offered help by a moderator in this very thread and you obviously never got back to him.  I have asked you for clarification in another of your threads and you never responded, either.  And I just moved your fourth thread to the archives, as it was highly unnecessary, highly impolite and you yet again disregarded the polite request to use a smart, descriptive headline.

 

So you claim to need help and then you don't accept it when it's offered, but instead repeatedly resort to yelling, insulting and ignoring the board rules you accepted upon signing up.  Good job.
