as long as there is a working inhouse cable from the central distribution box to your appartment , the technician will install a new internet plug (just the "TAE Dose" free of charge.
The technician will not open any walls and run a cable from the basement to your living room f.e. I would suggest asking your landlord if everything is ready for a dsl landline, because only he knows the exact situation in the house.
The fitting of a new internetplug is a matter of seconds.
