Hello,
I have ordered a Vodafone sim online and underwent the online ID verification with WebID on the 29th January. I was informed by mail that I would received my sim card in 2-5 days but it has been 11 days and I have still have not received anything. Really disappointed by this!
Additionally, I do not have a mobile contract in Germany and so I cannot contact the customer service for assistance.
I would be grateful if anyone could help me on this matter.

I am unsure what you mean by number portability. I did order a sim card and received a phone number for it. This is the email I received from Vodafone stating the sim card has been sent and providing me with a phone number for:
Bald ist es soweit! Wir haben Deine CallYa-SIM-Karte versendet. Spätestens übermorgen ist sie bei Dir. Dann kannst Du sofort loslegen. Lad Dir dann die MeinVodafone-App herunter. So hast Du immer alles im Blick.
Deine Handynummer schicken wir Dir schon jetzt.
Sie lautet 0xxxxxxxxxxx

Hi @bagana,
I meant with (mobile ) number portability that you bring your mobile phone number from another provider to Vodafone.
But you wrote you get a new number.
The sim-card will sent to you via letter mail normally. The address was correct? The address has no addition like "Hinterhof (backyard)"?

Thank you, I now understand what you mean. I am new to Germany so I don't have a phone number at all so the answer to mobile portability would be no.
The address was correct and did not have any additions except for the floor that I'm living on.
I was given a tracking number with Deutsche Post - but there seems to be no information available about the package.
I would normally go to a shop directly but with COVID shops seem to be closed.
If I decide to go ahead and buy a completely different sim card, would I run into any trouble considering that I have provided my Passport for ID verification?
