Kabel Internet router is blinking red. No Internet.

Hello, 

yesterday I cancelled my Kabel contract (with three months notice, Kündigung). Ever since then the internet light is blinking red. My contract is supposed last till September 29th. I  have turned it off and on again many times and checked the cabels. My uni is online and I have no internet. It's urgent. Please help.

in which federal state do you live? Did you check the cables? Do your neighbours have a problem with the Internet connection as well?
