Hi,
I've CH7466CE router for more than 3 years and I started to have connectivity interruptions both with 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz WiFi configuration. I'm working from home and video calls are always a problem for me. I would like to change my router to Vodafone Station which support WiFi 6 technology. It would be a better option considering all the devices connected to the router and I would have reliable connectivity for work as well.
When I renewed my contract at the end of last year, I received email that Vodafone Station is costless but it was not delivered to me. How can I request change of the router?
Thanks

depending on the city u r living, the upgrade of your router 2 the actual DOCSIS 3.1 standard will be done for free.
without DOCSIS 3.1 there won't be a future at all.
so call the support 2 give them the advice to proof the delivery address which is listed 4 u right now
(sometimes it is not actual at all)
and 2 send out the new mta asap

I tried to contact support but it is not possible to find someone speaking English. Also, they are not willing to do a callback with a person who does. That's why I'm trying my chance here. Hopefully someone from Vodafone gets in touch.

Hello selcukd,
if your cable router is defective, it can be replaced free of charge.
As seelo2010 already wrote, you will then be sent an identical model.
A change to the Wifi6 station is not possible.
Best regards, Martin

Hi Martin,
This is the email I received from Vodafone on December 12. I just want what was in the contract.

In addition, I don't have a defective device. Other signals are interrupting my internet if I am not next to the router.
For example, whenever microwave oven is running, 2.4 Ghz signal is broken completely and 5 Ghz signal has big latency.
During the afternoon and evening hours, my 5 Ghz signal is not working on my bedroom where I am working because there are more devices from other households around which interferes the communication. When I switch to 2.4 Ghz, my speed is 1-2 Mbps which is not enough for working.
Under these conditions, I don't have a reliable connection. That's why I need a new router that supports newer technology to receive better service from my internet connection.

Hello selcukd,
have you ever given the 2.4 GHz and the 5 GHz different names and passwords?
Also see if you can improve the channel assignment in the user interface of the cable router.
Many greetings, Martin

Hi Martin,
In the beginning, I had same names for both frequencies. Now, I've different network names for each frequency.
For the channels, I've run the diagnostics on the router and chose a channel which was not used by other routers around.
I tried all the options I am aware of.
