Good morning.

I'm a dsl customer using a rented 7590 from 2018. I would like to update to 7690. What is the best way to proceed ?

Any way today to use your own router ?

- I did follow the procedure online and I ordered the 7690

- I received it today

- I installed

Done ! Really nice.

Question: is the old 7590 now mine ?

If you don’t send the old one back within 2 weeks you will be charged for it, 60 Euro if I remember correctly. The Fritzbox then will be yours.

Thanks. How to know for sure if, how and where to send it ? I have not been requested to send it back.

I did try whatsapp but is a bot and only German, cannot handle this question.

At WhatsApp you have demand a „Kundenberater“ repeatedly until the bot gives up and forwards you to a human, support in English is available that way, too.

UPDATE: 7590 did come back because serial number has not been recognized.

Issue is that it has been replaced by AVM when 2.4GHz wifi did stop to work (and Vodafone did not support).

So, how to proceed ? I have an email from AVM stating they replaced it, with reference to old and new serial numbers.

Also, still nobody formerly asked me to send it back.

What should I do ?
