Hi,
I ordered a new 250Mbps connection (19.99 euros for the first 6 months and 39.99 thereafter). On vodafone's website, it shows that internet upto 1000Mbps is available at my building. However, I was contacted by a person from vodafone that I have to pay extra 13.99 and take a cable tv connection as well. It's not possible to get internet without getting the cable tv mentioned. He said something about the cable charge not being included in the nebenkosten. I speak very little German so I didn't understand exactly what he said. Isn't it possible to get just the 250Mbps internet without getting the TV connection? I don't want to pay for the cable TV connection as I don't even own a TV. I just want the internet.

Don't listen to such people who call unexpectedly, just quit the call immediately. They just want to sell more contracts on their own benefit. If you don't use TV, then you don't need to pay for it. Please check your contract situation carefully, sometimes users get contracts assigned after such calls even if they did not agree. If you receive any document by mail, e-mail or in your MyVodafone portal, please notify in this forum.

Thanks for your response. Since I didn't understand what was going on I had asked him to send me an email (which I translated using google translate). I had told him that I only want an internet connection and nothing else, but he had told me that it's not possible. Today, I received a letter (by mail) from Vodafone that they can't provide me the service as Landlord didn't grant permission. However, I asked my landlord and he was never contacted by Vodafone.
What should I do? Does this mean that my previous order was canceled? I want to make sure that my previous request has been canceled before I reapply. I don't want to pay for two contracts.

have you checked with your property management? Who is responsible for the TV supply in your house? In some cases, you may need a TV contract so that you can use the internet with us. Send me your customer number, name, date of birth and address by private message. Then I can take a look at it.

I have had a look at it. The contracts from us via the Internet were canceled. The order for the TV connection did not come from us either. Your house has Kabelcom as the cable provider. We are only allowed to offer internet & phone. However, this is only possible if a TV contract is also concluded with the operator (Kabelcom) of the house network. Because you rejected this, we were probably informed that we are not allowed to make a contract.
