relocation with changing DSL to cable

Hi,

I requested relocation via phone, and the person I spoke to informed me that I needed to change my cable internet from DSL because it's not possible to transfer my DSL connection to the new location. I agreed to this change. A few days ago, I received a new cable modem. However, today I received an SMS from Vodafone stating that I need to complete the connection within 7 days. Since I'll be moving to a new apartment next month, I won't be able to complete the connection steps until then. Inside the box, there's a paper containing a new customer number. Is this process normal? I'm confused about why my customer number has changed and why I'm receiving these kinds of SMS instead. How should I proceed with the relocation steps? Additionally, I'm unsure about how to return my current modem as there are no instructions provided for that.

this process is correct. 

 

Since the contract is connected to the adress, by moving to another one you always will get a costumer number.

 

In case of the activation, pls get in contact with us again so we can change the date for you.
