Hi,
I'm moving to another country where Vodafone is not available, and I would like to cancel my contract.
Today I sent a Fax to +492102986575 with a hand written letter asking to cancel my contract, following with my costumer number.
Is that enough?
Are you able to check the status of my request?
What should I do with the Vodafone equipment I have for the internet (router)?
What is the last day that internet will still be activated on my apartment?

Hey jpbr,
I'm sorry to hear that you're leaving us.
As long as the letter/fax contains your customernumber & the clear intention that you whish to cancle the contract, everything is fine.
The orderdepartment will have a look into this & enter the cancellation.
A cancellation taktes atleast 8 working days.
You'll recieve a return voucher for your router with the cancellation confirmation.
Which gets either send by e-mail (as long as we have a confirmed mailadress) or letter.

I sent the letter in English, and I would like to send another one in German, just to be sure my request will be accepted. would you be so kind and provide me the email address that I should send the cancellation letter?

A cancellation letter in english will be accepted. Important is that it contains the clear intent that you whish to cancle the contract.
There is no direct emailadress for the customerservice.
Only a contactform, which is sadly in german.

I did send the Vodafone router by post, but Im not living in Germany anymore and are not able to check if Vodafone sent a letter for my old address or not.

Hi @jpbr,
Did you send the router with the return voucher attached in the parcel?
Else, the return will not be accepted and the router will be returned to sender.
Which, of course, does not make sense if you already left Germany without leaving your new address with customer service.
If you send me a private message, I will check the status of your contract.
Please include
a. Your former customer acc number
b. your customer password
c. a link to your thread in the Community
