modem keeps disconnecting

Since I got vodafone installed, randomly during the day the modem disconnects, internet stops working, reconnects again and start working again.

It happens several times during the day.

Now I have started working from home and it is a serious disruption.

It happens both via WiFi and via Ethernet.

All the lights go off (apart from power), internet starts blinking red and after a minute or so it's up again.

I do have serious troubles contacting the support as I don't speak good German.

Any suggestions?
