Hello,
I booked cable many weeks ago, but when the technician came he said it was broken and that the cable company would need to come and fix it. I then had another technician come a week later and he said it was broken and that the break was about 25 metres away. He said it would take about 2 weeks to fix. Since then I have had no more contact and I have no internet. It is costing me a lot of money on phone data. I need the internet for work and for video conferencing. I would like to know when the issue will be fixed. If it is not for a long time I would like to have a temporary solution, or I am happy to change to DSL rather than cable if I can get it more quickly.

The question is: Is the cable broken inside the house?
Then it's most probably your landlord that has to fix it...
Have you informed your landlord in case that TV services are also not working?
