My internet connection is down for one month now!! I need VF/Cableway to find an urgent solution!

Hello,

 

I moved to my new apartment on Sep 1, and I did the Umzug procedure with Vodafone for which I paid 40 Euros. I thought everything will be Ok but when I move to my new flat there was no internet.

I contacted Vodafone and they sent me a technician from Cableway, who after checking, said that I have a problem with the cables in my flat and I need to check with the property management to fix the cables for me. The next day I received an email from Cableway asking me to agree to a construction work to lay 40 meters of cables from the first floor to my flat in order to bring me the cables. However all of this is unncessesary!! because the previous tenant who left 2 weeks before also had a Vodafone Station with cable that was working fine! so the cables are already OK! Are Cableway trying to do unnessessary work here?

Also, the landlord did not agree to this and Vodafone must find another solution to make internet work for me again. I contacted VF again and I was told that Cableway will contact me for another apointment, but nothing! I also tried calling Cableway but no one is picking the phone!

I am really angry because I paid 40 Euros for the move, and I am paying 80 Euros for 2 months now for an internet that is not even working! I really expect better from Vodafone especially that I have been a customer for the last 3 years and this is the first time I have an issue with them.

 

I hope someone from Vodafone can read this and help find a solution asap!

If the previous tenant had a working cable connection, then you should be able to use that outlet again.

Anyhow if you try to use another outlet, then this may be the problem...

Actually I used all available outlets without success..

according to the technician there is no working cable in your apartment, which is why you cannot be connected. The work requires the owner’s permission, which has not yet been obtained.
