My router loses connection a couple of times per day, then flashes red, then restarts.
It is not to do with any of the usual troubleshooting stuff:
- cable is not faulty
- factory reset doesnt solve it
-both WLAN and LAN lose connection
This has been happening for almost a year and i have not received any help. The customer service only speak German.
Please help.

at first, please take a look into this thread here, this can also have several causes, so I would like to have a look at the connection 🙂 Can you send me your customer data (customer number, name, address and date of birth of the contract holder) via private message?
Then please let me know in the post when you have sent me the data.

the signal-values are bad.
I would like to have a technician come out and take a look at it on site. If that's okay with you, I still need a cell phone number so we can set up an appointment.
Is the house facility accessible?

My router is still restarting less since the technician came to visit, but it is still restarting, often multiple times per day.

yesterday there was an error-rate at your connection. At the moment everything seems to be fine.

Today there has been 1 reboot so far.
I will make a note of the times of each reboot from now on, and post them here.

Hello JoeDavies,
when exactly was the reboot? I don't see it in the system. There are some error rates on your modem though that don't occur at your neighbour's modem. Please replace the coaxial cable to see if that helps.

Hi,
I replaced the coaxial cable and it did not help.
The reboots over the last few days have beem at the following times:
21:00 - 21/04/2021
11:17 - 22/04/2021
13:37 - 22/04/2021
14:20 - 22/04/2021
10:27 - 24/04/2021
Each time it reboots, I lose internet for 10 minutes. Extremely frustrating. This has been happening for a year.
