Hello Su,

Thank you for your reply.

My handy and home internet were both cancelled and the contract finished in November of 2019.  I think you will see I have never used my handy as well.

Myvodafone account shows a postive account balance of 7€ something but I I had recieved a 69,90€ deduction from my account from Vodafone with no explanation.  I have no email nothing.  My accounts are closed and I do not use anything on this customer reference.  I have blocked the payment from my bank.  I refuse to have my money taken without explanation or reason.  That is theft.

I am happy to provide any information you need to you, but not over a public forum.

Hello @Georgie_S,

I have an idea and I am quite sure that this is the explanation. Is it possible that you did not send back the router?

Regards

Lalapanzi

Hello @Lalapanzi ,

I have not sent the router back as I had no reply from Vodafone when I spoke with them about where or when to return it.

I am happy to return it.   I do not use it or need it.   but without any information on where to return it to when I have asked them during cancellation, it is a bit poor service.

Hey @MarvinRo ,

That doesn't sound very secure sending you my information and passwords over an open forum.  How about you provide me an official way to send you those details and I'd be happy to get this going.

Hey frenglish,

the main concept of this community is in the spirit of "customers helping customers".
But there are also vodafone employees , which you can recognize on the "Moderator/Moderatorin" Tag after the user name.

Our contactform is german only - but i can try to send you a prefilled link with all the information.
Did you have a dsl contract?

Without checking your customeraccount. If you say you've cancelled your contracts & after a long time we have charged 69,90 Euro - let me make an edjucated guess. 69,90 is our fee if we have not recieved a rented Easybox 804 after the contract has ended. Did you send your modem back after the contract has ended (the retourn voucher is within the cancellation confirmation letter).

Best regards,
Andre

Hi Andre,

I receved the attached letter from Vodafone in Jan 2020. Since receiving this letter I have heard nothing more from Vodafone, especially with regards to needing the return the router. As I didnt hear anything from Vodafone, then they tried to take 69.99EUR from my account, I am extremely annoyed to say the least.

I would like to return the router as I now receive a letter from a debt collecting saying I owe Vodafone even more money. Please would you let me know the following

What paper work I need to fill out before sending the router back.

Where I need to send the router to

What information I need to include in the box when I send the router back

I have an EasyBox 804 which was linked to a DSL 16000 contact.

As I already wrote in your other thread: If you were due to return the Router at the Begin of 2020 -and there has been an invoice & initial deduction in July for the router, it's now -in October- much too late to just return the router.

It would've been your contractual obligation to return any rental devices in time -without any further "request" -and- at your expenses. If you have not done so, you would've been charged the price for all the devices not sent back in time - in case of an EasyBox router 69,99 €. But as you charged back the invoice, you'll now have to pay even more money -the initial sum, the chargeback fees and -as it's now moved on to a debt collector- their additional fees and their interest rates as you are more than due to pay the (initial) invoice.

And as you didn't answer to @Andre s and @MarvinRo s requests in time, it's only getting worse. So I really doubt that the whole process can now be stopped and reverted back if you'd only return the router - as there have been additional expenses already made on side of Vodafone that only relate to your actions by not returning the router in time and charging back the invoice without further notice/resolution.

I'm afraid that you'll definitely have to pay the whole amount - and with each week passing, it'll become more - and that returning the router won't help you anymore.
