Double payment

Dear community, by accident I sent a uberweisung for a bill to Vodafone which they ended up also direct debiting from my account leading to a double payment being made. Will my uberweisung be returned or do i need to contact them?

Usually a double payment leads to a credit on your account. It will be subtracted from your next bill so you will only have to pay the difference, or maybe nothing, depending on how much credit you have.

Otherwise you can call the customer service and tell them they shall pay off the credit onto your bank account. Usually this will happen within 2 weeks.

Important: Paying it off is only possible if your credit is higher than 50 euro.
