Hi,

 

I would like to learn the terms to cancel my mobile phone contract.

When and how can I cancel it?

 

Note: My contract was automatically extended after 24 months. I was not aware of extension. I think there is a change as a result of new law. Here is the previous topic. https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/Mobilfunk/Contract-cancellation/td-p/2726685

Hey @feser,

you are right tht the terms for cancellations have changed on 1st Decemer 2021.

When your contract was pronlonged before that day that where to the old conditions.

Is that means I can not cancel my contract because it was prolonged before 1th of December?

Hey feser,

it sounds like you have not cancelled until now.

If you send us your cancellation request and no other reason speaks against it your contract will be cancelled in a month.

Hey feser,

just send a private message to us Moderators. Either Boris or me.

We need the excact whish/intent  that you whish to cancle your contract to the next possible appointment and your mobilenumber/customerpassword.

To send a PM please click on a name/avatar -> then the big red button on the right side "sende eine private Nachricht".

If you have not cancelled the contract yet & whish to change the provider, you can ask for the porting of your phonenumber while signing up for a new provider. In This case your new serviceprovider will cancle the contract for you.

Hi,

 

I have submitted my cancellation request via MeinVodafone app.

The new provider says that I need to inform you in advance to port my phonenumber before end of the contract.

How can I do it?

about the customer support. There, the release of your phone number (opt-in) can be noted in the customer account.
