I recently moved to Germany and this is my first time getting cable internet. It's horrifyingly slow during nights. I basically CAN NOT STREAM 16 0p !!! This is ridiculously slow!
1 person speaking English, she has said that there's going to be an installation on the way. Speed has not gotten better whatsoever, some nights are even worse than others. I am very disappointed with the service.

Part of the work has already been completed, so the bandwidth in the evening should no longer fall sharply.

can you tell me, what cablerouter you use? And it's all day long?
Did you use also a wifi or ethernet connection?

It looks like to be Sagemcom FAST5460. taken from https://kabel.vodafone.de/hilfe_und_service/geraete/wlan_kabelrouter
All day? No. Streaming live video becomes high quality almost the rest of the day, occasional bumps, the main issue is only around 21:00 to 00:00 (3 hours).
I tend to use 5GHz wifi connection. My laptop and mobile phone don't have ethernet port. I can't cable my entire house for everyone to use internet.
Also another issue with modem: I have tried separating USSID of 2.4GHz and 5GHz, but the 5GHz sometimes goes off completely and I have to reset the modem to get it back. Resetting modem takes a long time and this process is obnoxious.
I'll take DSL if it provides a stable connection.

If you use the 5GHz wifi, what distance did you have to the cablerouter? Sometimes it's better to use a repeater.

I was told the same last month in April that it'll get resolved by middle of May.
Now we wait for July. July comes, I will be told that it'll get fixed by September.
Vicious cycle. Where do you think customer dissatisfaction comes from? 😕
