German Vodafone App not available in in other coutries

When I first signed up for Vodafone plan, there was a link on Vodafone website to download app directly from the website. Now I cannot find anything, and of course German Vodafone app is not available in US app store.

I can download Vodafone app from multitude coutries, like NZ, Ghana, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, but German is not available.

And I know I can access it from the browser, but then why to have app at all???

If bank, so German as Sparkasse can do it, why Vodaphone cannot???

It is so frustrating!

Als ich mich zum ersten Mal für den Vodafone-Plan anmeldete, gab es auf der Vodafone-Website einen Link zum Herunterladen der App direkt von der Website. Jetzt kann ich nichts mehr finden, und natürlich ist die deutsche Vodafone-App nicht im US-amerikanischen App-Store erhältlich.

This is because the app is intended for Vodafone Germany and since Vodafone is also available in many other countries, a corresponding app also exists there. Vodafone does not exist as a network operator in the USA, so there is no app in the app store that does not bring anything there, you are more the exception. You can only switch the app store to German, then you will also be offered the app. Alternatively, you can of course use www.meinvodafone.de, but you already know that from your description.
