Moving to new address earlier than the move in date

Hi,

I had requested for moving my internet connection from my current address in Braunschweig to new address in Berlin from 29th May. I got confirmation and received new telephone numbers. I was just asked to plug in my router once I move to the new apartment and start using the internet.

Unfortunately I might be moving 2 or 3 days earlier than 29th. Can I still start using the internet say for example on 27th May from my new apartment? Or do I have to inform vodafone and change my move-in date?

Do you mean I can connect my router and will be able to use the internet before the move in date that I had mentioned to vodafone?

If it is a cable contract (using the antenna outlet): Most presumably yes...

And most presumably you won't need a technician.

Only thing that will happen on that date is that your old phone numbers get deleted and replaced by the new ones with a reboot...

Hi, I just moved into the new apartment and found that there is no coax outlet.

That is the Coax outlet - you may just need to use the supplied Adapter that converts the "regular" two-socket outlet into a multimedia outlet with the additional modem outlet.

I did not get any adapter when I received the modem. Do you have any picture of the adapter that converts regular two-socket outlet into multimedia outlet with additional modem outlet?  

I will check if I can buy from Saturn or Mediamarkt or request vodafone to send it.

well, we could also send you the adapter - could be take some time, but we can. The other way you mentioned would be probably faster 😉
