(Apologizing in advance for writing in English.)
Since there is no official information about this that I could find, I thought I would ask here.
I am leaving the country at the end of this month. I have submitted the online form for the cancellation notice. I believe this would still end the contract only until the end of contract period next year.
I have been told that I can ask for the contract to be terminated earlier if I can present the deregistration certificate. The earliest I can apply for that is about a week before I leave the apartment - 24th October this month.
How do I communicate this to Vodafone? Is there a form to submit a scan of the certificate? Do I need to send a copy of the notice by mail somewhere? I cannot find this information anywhere.
Thanks,
Sandip

Hello esbee,
a deregistration from Germany is actually not necessary. Instead of a termination you have to report a move. This is also required if the termination is due to a move abroad. Please use the relocation service

Unfortunately, I already applied for the termination after reading multiple threads in this forum that that is the way to do this process.
I have a mail from Vodafone now asking about my move out date and new address. I have no idea how to respond to that letter - the customer service is entirely via telephone or forms, it seems.
Would you know if there is a way for me to electronically send mail to Vodafone so that I can answer their question? I think I need to to tell them the foreign address I am moving to, because even though I mentioned I am moving abroad they are still asking for my new address to check if they have service there.
Thanks,
Sandip
