Why does Vodafone continue charging monthly after cancelling the contract?

Dear Vodafone Community,

 

I was a customer of Vodafone kabel for more than 2 years.

But I had to cancle my contract before termination date due to moving to another area where they can't deliver their service.

I registered cancellation form on the early of October 2019 (3 months before moving) and they promised that they would cancle my contract before termination date but had to charge monthly bill by March 2020 for the penalty.

So I expected that I don't need to pay any more after March 2020.

But they are continue charing 8,99EUR until now. (March, April, May)

I don't know why and until when they whill charge.

Could you please explain about this bill?

Hello ORABUNI,

if we are unable to provide you at your new address, your contract will be cancelled. This is done according to the German Telecommunications Act with a notice period of 3 months, starting from the date of the move. In your case the calculation is correct.

Thanks for answer.

But I moved on December 2019 and paid bill untill March 2020.

So I thought already paid 3 months of bills after moving.

but still claimed additional 8.99EUR for March, April and May.

Could you please check again?

thanks for your PN.

I've checked and it looks like this. Your contract for Internet & Telephone has been cancelled according to the Telecommunications Act, as we cannot continue to provide you at your new address. You can continue to use your TV contracts there, so you have received a new customer number for your new address. The monthly debits are for your TV contracts.
