Recently, there was a Vodafone representative visit to my apartment asking if I would like a plan upgrade.
I decided to go with the Plan upgrade since the Internet usage has increased in the Corona times.
I previously had Vodafone Red Internet & Phone 200 Cable, and the upgrade option was for Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable.
I assumed that the upgrade would happen to my existing contract, but to my surprise, there is new contract which is setup.
Now, I have two contracts active, and I just received the bill for both.
Can somebody help me cancelling my contract?

How long has it been now? You must have gotten completely new hardware, right?

thanks for your pm.
It was my understanding that you had made a new contract on yourself. Unfortunately, here the new contract is on a completely different person.
Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about that. There is unfortunately no basis here to terminate the old contract.
But the new contract is still new enough that it can be revoked, as a gesture of good will.

I'll manage the cancellation of the new contract for you.
What do you meant with setup the old conmnection? The old connection should have worked before. Please plug the old router into the cable socket.

you'll get a confirmation in the next days. The new contract is cancelled then.
In this cancellation you'll find the retoure adress for the newer router.

Probably the last question around this. Would there by downtime for switching over the connection from current speed(500Mbps) to previous(200Mbps? If yes, when?
