Hello!

I will be leaving Germany and moving abroad at the end of February and I wish to terminate my contract. What steps should I take from here and how can I get this done?

Alright, got it! I will do that. However, I do have couple more questions.

1) its written in the link that you provided that the contract is only terminated three months after the moving date. How will the payments (if theres any) of those three months will take place? Will it be the same way as usual? Im asking because I might not be using my German bank account anymore once I have left the country.

 

2) Will the form ,that I can find from the provided link, cancel all of my contracts that I have with Vodafone or do I have to do anything separately for my mobile contract for example?

 

3) Before I was about to send out the form - I noticed that my old address is the one being used there and I couldn't change it. Is that fine or is it a must that the current address is the one being used there too? I already gave the information about my current address to Vodafone quite some time ago and I received the new wi-fi router and tv box at the new address. Also, the letters that Vodafone sends me are coming to the address that I'm currently staying at. Just wanted to clear that up.

Hi KevKilp,

 

the fees will be deducted from your bank account as usual.

 

Unfortunately, this form is only suitable for cable contracts.

 

If you also have a mobile phone contract, you better open a new thread in the Mobilfunk- board. The colleagues there are a bit fitter with the mobile contracts than I am.

 

A relocation notification is always about the new address and whether or not it is supplied. For the cancellation itself, it should not be a problem that your old address is still noted.
