Hello, I'm currently on the red 100 cable plan and paying monthly for a FritzBox which I don't need. Is it possible to switch to the free router included with new internet contracts?

It is possible to switch to the standard router if you send a cancellation note [in German!] for the so called "Homebox-Option".

Please note:

There is a 29.99 € one-time device change fee.

And: The standard router does NOT include WiFi for free. If you want to use the WiFi from the standard router, you'll have to pay 2.99 € per month extra...

Thanks for the info. If I were to sign up for a new contract, though, I would get this box for free with wifi included. Is there any way to do that as an existing customer?
