I cancelled my contract when I moved abroad but contract is still running

Hi,

On March 14th I moved from Germany to Sweden, as a part of this process i cancelled my Red Internet & Phone Young 400 Cable contract over phone with the customer support.

As I moved abroad, I expected that my contract would be cancelled within 2 weeks, however I still received an invoice for the month of March and when i check MyVodafone it says that my contract is valid until June, which it shouldn't.

How can I go about making sure that this is taken care of and that I do not need to pay the invoices for March, April and May?

Hi OscarLo,

 

that date is correct. The period of notice for termination when moving to a non-served area is 3 months. This is regulated in the Telecommunications Act.
