Mein Deutsch ist nicht gut, Englisch ist meine Hauptsprache. Es tut uns leid.

Ich habe eine CH7466CE im Bridge-Modus. 1000Mbit ist jetzt an meinem Standort verfügbar.

Wird der CH7466CE 1000 MBit erreichen? Wenn ich ein anderes Vodafone-Modem benötige, können sie den Bridge-Modus ausführen?

and yes - Bridge Mode will be available

Thank. I received the modem and connected it. A few problems:

 

  1. There is no option for Bridge Mode in Expert Settings
  2. If it's enabled at kabel.vodafone.de, the Interneteinstellungen where I previously enabled it says "Es ist ein Fehler aufgetreten."
  3. speedtest.net shows ~200Mbit/s

What do I need to do for Bridge Mode? Just wait? (for Vodafone to update... hopefully allowing Bridge Mode and for max speed)

You need to wait up to 24 hours before you can enable Bridge Mode in My Vodafone Internet Settings
If you still get an error after waiting you have to contact the hotline.

You also have to disable WiFi option if it was enabled!
Hopefully it was already disabled because if it was enabled you have to wait much longer before you can enable Bridge Mode.

Is the new contract going to require a new customer account (it shows old 200Mbit contraxct as cancelled)? Or will it show up in my existing customer account? Or do I need to add the new contract?

no your account will still be the same.
don't you get a date for the switch to 1000 Mbit/s ?
it will not change anything before that date!

Everything is working, including bridge mode. It's very fast, well over 900Mbit/s. Pleased.

 

I just wish I had done the 20€/month introduction.
