Anfrage von Google Support: Technische Änderungen am Router

Hallo zusammen,

Vielen Dank vorab.

LG, Marcel

Configuring your Router Settings

Be sure to enable or disable the following router features to allow Stadia Controller to communicate properly with your router and network. All routers are different, so each setting may or may not appear on your particular router (or may be named differently).

Keep in mind that resetting or making changes to your router settings may have unintended consequences. If you need help or have questions or concerns, contact your router manufacturer or internet service provider (ISP)

  • Check if your router or wireless network uses AP isolation mode (also known as "guest mode" or "client mode") or an authentication page (also known as a "captive portal"). If enabled, these settings can prevent your Chromecast device from properly connecting to your mobile device or computer. Be sure to disable these features prior to setup. (Refer to Learn More: AP Isolation is enabled)
  • Be sure that Multicast, UPnP, and IGMP are enabled on your router.
  • If your router is running DNS software, be sure to enable the following public Google DNS IP addresses: 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4

It would be worth trying to change your device’s DNS to Google Public DNS. This would make your connection more stable as your DNS won’t be auto assigned but instead, fixed on that said address. Here’s how to: https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/using

  • Primary Server: 8.8.8.8
  • Secondary Server: 8.8.4.4

The TCP and UDP are your connection settings for your internet that can be setup if you have access to your router settings and if not, best advice is that you need to contact your internet service provider for them to adjust your TCP and UDP setting in the range of 44700 - 44899.

  • Enables Windows 7 compatibility mode
  • Right-click the Chrome icon
  • Select properties.
  • Select the compatibility tab.
  • Click the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for"
  • Select Windows 7.
  • Then, try to re-enable your Hardware Acceleration on your Chrome browser.

Here's some additional information to keep in mind as you troubleshoot the issue:

  • Chromecast (1st generation) is only compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi networks, so it won't list 5 GHz networks when setting up the device. Please make sure the Chromecast is using the 2.4 GHz band. Other Chromecast versions are compatible with both 2.4 GHz WiFi 802.11 b/g/n WiFi networks and 5 GHz networks, so you will see both when setting up the device. If you have a dual band router, you must disable AP isolation. Other devices such as your laptop/computer can use the 5 GHz band; the 5 GHz band will maximize performance when using the Cast extension to cast a tab.
  • If you're having trouble connecting to a 5GHz connection on a router that is running DD-WRT firmware, please change the wireless mode setting to "mixed" and then try setting your Chromecast again
  • Hidden networks: If your network is hidden (i.e. does not broadcast its name/SSID), you'll need to manually input the network name and password. To do this, go to the network selection drop-down list, select "Other," and manually input the name and password.
  • MAC address filtering: If your router has MAC address filtering enabled, you'll need to add the MAC address of your Chromecast to the list of filtered devices.
    • During setup, from the "Connect to Wi-Fi" screen, please tap the 3 dotsMore menu iconlocated in the top right corner.
    • Tap Show MAC Address.
  • Security: Chromecast supports WEP, WPA, and WPA2 wireless security protocols. These protocols prevent uninvited guests from connecting to your wireless network, and encrypt your private data as it is being transmitted over the airwaves.

After you've adjusted your router settings in accordance to the information listed above, please try setting up your Chromecast device again. If you have any further questions, please reply to this email directly.

von einem 703C habe ich noch nie was gehört  😞

ist denn der Chromecast mit deinem WLAN verbunden und nur der Controller funktioniert nicht?
