Hello,
I have 500 Mbps connection and it is horribly slow or not connecting most of the time, intially i thought it was due to wifi network issue so i changed the wifi name and password as well as channels mentioned in Vodafone site, After all these 1 hour of time invested, internet worked for 5 min and then it was same slow network issue. therefore i loged into router and checked in logs to find that firewall is blocking - denial of service attacks (DoS attack). I have attached the screens of the issue i am facing. Sorry that my German is very poor to explain these over telephone.
for surprice Netflix and youtube works fine once after it is gets connected, whatsapp and browsing is very bad and not reliable i am unable to work from home due to this network issue.
Even speed test site shows latency error even if it connects to internet and it is very very slow. Please solve this issue asap.

Hello hari49,
do you notice the problems only via WLAN or is also the LAN connection not in order? If it is WLAN, please test a direct LAN connection.

Thanks for your fast reply. Yes i tried connecting my laptop through LAN Cable and even then the internet was very slow or not connecting. There is sudden spikes and Variation in Internet speed. When ever i restart the router it works perfectly fine over WLAN /LAN for first 15 - 30 min then again the disconnection happens then after 5 min it works normal for 20 min. So when i call customer care number according to them it works fine as i call them during the 15 min where it works fine.
My Vodafone customer ID is xxxxxxxxx Please help me . I guess if you change my Network IP address this problem might get solved. I am really unhappy with issue for past one week.

Hi,
Even connected through LAN cable to router. I had 160 Mbit/s i have paid for 500 Mbit/s and it was disconnecting 2 -3 times. Please see the screenshot for getting idea of issue. Anyways i have ordered for Fritzbox 6591 because the telephonic support is horrible and online support also feels there is no issue with Router or IP address :(. I am typing this message by using Mobile hotspot . My WLAN is completly not working as of now. see the System tray for DateTime and LAN connection for proof and speed from Speedtest and Vodafone speedtest also the logs of router for DoS attack

such "DoS attacks" logged by the firewall MAY also be caused by "cheat bots" of various online games which simply are abusing YOUR client for cheating...
Are you playing any online games? If yes, which ones?
EDIT: Just noticed the "ads" in your screenshots... you MIGHT google "destiny 2 ddos attack"
Not sure, if that issue is currently still active... but there was one with "Destiny 2".

the line still looks good. If you can rule out that it's your network, I can send a technician. The colleague is free up to and including the router. Only if the malfunction occurs afterwards, the colleague is liable to pay the costs (99,50 Euro). Would that be okay for you?

I do not understand, So Vodafone promised for service of 500 Mbps and i showed proof that vodafone is not providing such a speed and i am not worried about the speed ,but even internet is not working for most of the day. So when technical person is there and during that time if everything works perfectly i need to pay 100 Euro ? .
What will happen if the speed is less than 500 Mbps while technical person is there ? will vodafone return me the money for the days internet was poor and the effort i am putting in to make you guys undserstand my issue?.
Mostly these technical person do not like to help non german speakers :(( I understand that i have to speak German but a little bit english will go long way) . I have ordered for Firtzbox from Vodafone hopefully after that everything works fine if not then i will request for the Technical person.
Can't you please referesh the line from your side ? like refereshing the IP address or something ?
I am really disappointed with service of Vodafone DE.

the technician is free if it is the router. However, if the malfunction comes from the network, we can do little, as it is your home network.
Therefore we must always point this out.
The line fits and I can't find any error.
