Hello, (sorry for not writing in German, I've just started learning the language)
I'm experiencing very slow upload (4mbit instead of 12mbit) and high and inconsistent pings. I'd like to report this as a fault.
The time of the day does not matter, it is slow and incosistent day and night. There are no problems with my download speed, it is usually around 120-130mbit/sec. My connection is wired ethernet directly to the provided cable router/modem.

thank you, now I've got all the data I need so I could check your access. However, I didn't find anything suspicious, the signal is good and the utilisation is low enough to guarantee the full upload speed each time of the day. Did you check if any device or software might cause a constant usage of the upstreams? You could start by only connecting one device and disable all software.

Thanks for looking into this.
Now everything seems perfect (I booted up a ubuntu live usb environment and checked the ping and the speeds there). I'll try it in the evening and will report back, maybe this only happens in the evening (between 20:00 and 21:00).

There's one difference though: When I reported the issue, the Upstream Channels used 32QAM modulation, now all four uses 64QAM modulation. Wouldn't the 32QAM modulation indicate some sort of signal fault or upstream channel disturbance?

good thing that the speed got better :). QAM 32 doesn't necessarily mean that you will notice an error. Did the line work well since yesterday?

The connection has been excellent since I reported the fault. I'll check again on weekend in peak times to see if the connection is still okay.
