Upload speed deteriorates in the afternoon

Hi,

I just switched to the CableMax 1000 from Red Internet 1000 and changed to the Fritzbox 6591 modem (from the Arris tg3442de) and now every afternoon the upload channels go down to 4QAM (from 32QAM in the morrning) and upload speed goes down to 8-10 Mbit/s. Download seems erratic as well with ping going up to 1000ms under load.

Only change on my side is the modem itself, not even the cables have changed.

And I did not have those problems before the change.

Could someone check the status remotely, please?

Hi Martin,

is there still work going on for my connection? 

I've seen quite an improvement but still a persistent 5-10% packet loss except for about 30 hours last Friday.

an interfering signal has been removed, which has led to the improvement.

How is it currently?

Hi Martin,

the connection has been pretty good for the past week, upstream channels vary but usually at least 2 are at 64 QAM. Dropped packet rates are way down so I think we can close this ticket.
