Slow internet, <50 Mbit/s

Hi

 

I've been experiencing slow internet connections for a while now, since June. 

I'm on a 100 Mbit/s contract, but the speedcheck (measured several times, using only cable connection and wifi turned off) rarely shows above 50 Mbit/s. It is usually near 40 Mbit/s. 

 

I've tried restarting the router, resetting to factory settings, etc, but nothing helps. 

I called customer support, and they ran some tests (I think) and sent me a text message the next day saying I've got 96% of my capacity. 

So I guess that means they have measured 96 Mbit/s, but I don't know where, and what they have measured is far more that what I get. 

 

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks for getting back to me! 

I've sent the data to you via direct message. 

Please let me know if you figure something out. 

 

I can add that the internet connection dropped out completely tonight for 3 minutes or so, and when it came back the speeds were up to 80-90 Mbit/s on occasions, but at least over 50 Mbit/s each time. 

Weird. I'll measure again tomorrow.

there are bad modem values at your connection, so i would like to send you a technician to check it on site. Could you send me a mobilenumber where the technician could contact you?
