However, my TV remote has stopped functioning. When i press any button on it, its green light keeps on blinking and I am unable to change any channels.
that sounds like the remote needs to be paired with the box. To do so, please perform a Side Panel Reset first by pressing the reset button on the right side for about 20 seconds. Turn the box off afterwards with the round button on the back. After a few seconds, turn it on again with the same button. After those steps you can do the actual pairing by pressing the buttons "Menü" and "0" at the same time, until the green light over the arrow pointing upwards starts blinking. The box and the remote should sync automatically now. The little white dot at the front panel should fade of if the pairing was successful.
