My cable modem is misbehaving in a few different ways:
- Not letting devices connect, especially after running for a few days
- Not handing out IP-addresses to devices that connect
- Not routing packets to all IP-addresses. For example, pinging 8.8.8.8 or 1.1.1.1 fails sometimes
I've tried the following, but without it helping:
- Restarting the router
- Resetting the router
- Trying to connect using 5 different devices
- Opened a support ticket, with Vodafone, ***
I've been trying to fix this for the past 6 days, with no success, and since my vacation is over now, I really need my internet connection to be functional so that I can work.

Hey,
I don't know anything about the signal quality.
I do know that the modem is behaving really badly, and stops allowing devices connect after a while, and requires a hard restart per day. This hasn't been getting better since I started talkinig to support.
Can you please send a new modem? 2 weeks of only sometimes working internet is enough.

I work from home, so any weekday would work. Ideally not between 14-15:00 since I have meetings then.
Could you make sure that the technician brings a replacement modem?

Hey,
A technician came by, and replaced the modem. The internet connection seemed to work for about a few hours, and then went down again.
The connection has been going up and down since, and will typically stay up for a few hours and the go down for 24 hours or so.
So I would definitely say that my issue has not been solved.
Are other tenants in my building having the same issue? Or is it just me?
I think there are serious signal issues in my apartment, and possibly this entire building.

i can see the issue and a technician have to look again. Is it ok for you?
And i think also, that is something wrong in the building.
