Getting 2% of the advertised speed, Vodafone knows and it's getting fixed in DECEMBER?????

Since many years I've been having issues with my connection, especially during peak hours where my speeds don't come even close to the advertised speeds. I have a 500/25mbit contract, but during peak hours I'm lucky if I get 5/1mbit. On top of that, I get terrible ping and jitter which makes playing games impossible. I used to play at a semi-pro level, but this has become impossible in recent months due to the terrible connection I've been having.

I have contacted Vodafone service about this and today I was told "Hi XXX, we have too much load in the network in the evening and that's why expansion work is already underway. According to current planning, the work is expected to be completed in December."

I think you are making a late April fools joke, Vodafone? I'm paying for a service that you guys know you can't deliver and you plan on fixing it in 8 months??? This is a downright *** at this point. You guys have consistently failed to address your poor infrastructure in the many years you've had and now that we actually have a pandemic on our hands are surprised your bad framework can't handle it? Honestly, you can't be expecting me to pay full price for a service that doesn't work. Not only are the speeds low but over the past few weeks I've had the internet go down completely many times for several hours on end. I'm expecting a proper solution here, waiting until December to maybe get it fixed isn't one.
