No internet for a week

Hi,

It's been a week there's no internet at all in the flat. Apparently it's happening as well to some other people in the neighborhood (10969). I've tried rebooting and resetting the modem, checked all the cables and everything looks alright on my end.

A couple weeks ago, there was a similar problem but it solved itself in a few days.

It's becoming hard to justify a 7 day internet shutdown at work, I would appreciate if you could help me.

Hello LLHH,

I have just had a look at this. There is fire damage in the house next door which is causing problems with the power supply. Thus, the line cannot be put into operation at the moment.

An electrician has already been commissioned by the janitor / property management, however this is currently out of our hands. Here we are dependent on the repair of the power supply.

Internet is still not back but when I go to the Störungshilfe, it says everything is back to normal, which is not true.
Do you have any idea why?

the network disturbance could be repaired in the meantime, since in the affected object the power supply could be repaired.

I would therefore be happy to commission a technician to come to your premises and take a look at the problem.

Can you please send me a PN with a current mobile phone number, the info if you can access the house system and if there are signs of Covid-19?

The access has been sorted out, please send someone tomorrow.

I had to live at someone's place since 3 weeks, I would like to be able to go back home, if this is not too much asking...

Could you also provide me a phone number to a Vodafone support please? I would like to be able to talk to someone, instead of writing.

well, looks like its a central problem, my colleagues gave a notice thats something faulty in our central system there, they are working on it, sorry.
