I have set up my mailbox with 5500 code and recorded myself. I have also set up call forwarding with *67#.

However, when I switch my handy to Airplane mode and try to call it from another phone, no matter how I configure my mailbox, I always end up hearing the standard vodafone machine:
"vodafone teilnehmer ist jetzt nicht erreichbar"
later it says the same but in english and call ends.

I want such calls to reach my mailbox (voice mail) when I'm not available.

By the way these instructions seem to be outdated:

"1. Mailbox anrufen: Mit eigenem Handy 5500 wählen
2. Vom Hauptmenü aus folgende Tasten drücken: Mailbox einschalten: 2 7 1 Mailbox ausschalten: 2 7 2 3.
Bestätigen mit #: Die Ansage informiert, dass die Anrufumleitungen jetzt zur Mailbox ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet werden."

I don't get any confirmation after typing 271#, it says here I should get one.
Also when I press buttons slowly I hear machine saying that I pressed false button ("falsche Taste"). I think number "7" is no longer assigned to any option.

Please try the following GSM code: **62*5500#Dial button. The 67 code you have chosen just sets up the redirection in the busy case. Good luck and greetings. Jioti

Thank you Jioti, it helped!

It amazes me why such important code is not mentioned in instructions. Mailbox is pretty much useless without call redirection.
